Find your best self.
Let me take you there.

My name is Cheryl Bonder and I am a Certified Health & Wellness Coach specializing in coaching cancer survivors, survivors of chronic disease, stem cell transplant recovery & survivorship, cancer care specialists,

weight management, and life transition challenges.

I am also a mom of two amazing daughters and a cancer survivor.

My involvement and devoted passion in medical education, holistic program development, and coaching clients through difficult challenges has been ongoing for over 20+ years. My work led to the development of WAR (Women At Risk), a cancer awareness initiative at St. Barnabas Medical Center that addressed the needs of women at high risk for developing breast and ovarian cancers as well as coaching patients, clients and families with the many challenges that come along with it.

I coach medical staff working with cancer patients as well as care givers of cancer patients and patients facing challenges of chronic disease. My group coaching assists clients that are living with the challenges relating to hematological and other cancers, weight management, and varied stages of transition living and thriving in their new normal.

My personal journey coupled with my past professional background has propelled my passion for health & wellness coaching. I have learned that although the challenges are very frightening with an uninvited guest as cancer, well-being and health is a challenge that also exists in the absence of illness and in every sense of mind, body & spirit.

I am dual certified as a personal health & wellness coach and as a corporate health & wellness specialist by Global Wellness Services accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and the Corporate Health & Wellness Association accredited by the Institute of Educational Excellence. The positive psychology model that I have studied is practiced by Harvard’s Addiction Treatment Centers, Centers for Disease Control, National Cancer Institute and Johnson & Johnson Worldwide. I hold a New Jersey Teacher’s Certification as well as a Masters in Communications.

I see clients in Essex County New Jersey in addition to telephonic coaching for clients outside of the

New Jersey area.

I can empathize and sympathize with the struggles and challenges you face. I have not only been well educated in the practices of coaching, but I have walked the walk as a stem cell transplant survivor, a caregiver and a survivor of many life transition challenges.
